Análisis filogenético de la familia Hemerobiidae Latreille, 1802 (Insecta: Neuroptera).
Study justification
Hemerobiidae is one of 17 families in the order Neuroptera. It has a cosmopolitan distribution, with some genera like Hemerobius, Micromus and Sympherobius found on all continents but Antarctica. The biology of most of the hemerobids is poorly understood, although some larvae are known to be predators. For this reason, they have been proposed for use as biological controls of other insects harmful to agriculture.
